OP :Some of Sders are reporting that they did not get approved for second card. I had opened both visa and master card applications on two different browsers and submitted them together. Both got approved. But I know one of my office friends who signed up for visa last month , he was approved the master card today ..recommendation is to apply both of the at same time
I applied with two browsers at the same time one for Master Card and one for Visa card both are approved instantly but score on VISA 722 said Master card said 716, so even if we hit submit almost the same time there are processed one after the other
, both were approved for the same amount of credit line.

OP: Important about AMAZON PAYMENTS : For those who plan to use the Amazon payments , make sure you do not select "cash advance" option when sending money . Otherwise citi will charge you cash advance fee and this transaction will not be considered as a purchase txn and not help in earning any bonus points. You should select goods/services option

The link you provided does mention the points, and it is shown as 25k. Not sure why we'd think it was 50k. It's one thing if it doesn't say it at all, but if it specifically states 25k, then?

Got the Visa a couple of months back with 50k bonus points and claimed it with citi GCs on sale for 4,500 bonus points. Don't feel bad about the thumbs down, I just think going to a requirement of 5k is too much.

Waiting to hear someone else's success story here. I'd be very interested in this if only for the fact that it would finally open up some better rewards to cash out my Citi Forward ThankYou points for at a 1:1 rate

Interesting and tempting but need to think about what I'd run through it to ensure meeting the spending requirement, especially for two cards. Heading into the holdiays makes it easier, tho, and an extra $1000 sounds good. Keep in mind there's a $125 annual fee so you'd need to cancel before a year is up or try and get it waived next year to avoid it. Might even get 4 cards if the spouse is included but I'd likely want to stagger that approach.
