I use Continental Gatorskins and I got then for less than $40 from Outside Outfitters when they were on sale. Great tires!
Its been a while since I raced (late 90's) but why can't you find 700x20 tires any more? I have had a devil of a time finding them.
I think it's because the narrower width advantage is debatable. Not to mention the tendancy to pinch flat is dramatically increased with the 20's.
In fact, the trend for width has been the opposite. The big money wheels are now wider under the premise that they better support the tire keeping the contact patch consistent while rolling reducing the deformation thus making them faster. Or so they say...
