I've done it and know of others that have done this. If you're looking to resell them, I strongly suggest waiting until you receive your Meijer credit card so that you have the full spending limit because you only get the 10% offs on the first purchase, but you can still get the 15% off about twice a month.

The best deal was actually last week when they have 15% off with Meijer Credit Card and use the 10% off coupon in-store. So I could get an iPad3 below $400 including tax (or iPad2 below $300).

I have not found the $25 coupon deal online yet, but I will let you know if I do. I found this out simply by buying an iPad and the coupon was automagically printed.

I do not know how applying online works as far as getting a temporary card goes, but I do know that if you apply in store and get approved a receipt they give you and your drivers license serve as a temporary card that can be used immediately.
