This is a great deal if you can put in a half decent graphics card in there. The E6600 is a pretty quick processor for most people's needs, the weak point is the onboard graphics, a cheap card such as the AMD Radeon HD6450 will go a long way to make this a decent entertainment machine. You can even use it as a primary computer if you can spend some $40 on a HD5550 and $30 on that 60GB SSD posted here yesterday.

WOW a desktop!
These are almost completely extinct nowadays What you're paying for here is expandability. Laptops are no longer regarded as a compromise between speed and portability |

This will fit the bill of replacing the parents' 13ish year old desktop nicely. I'm sure it'll handle email and solitaire without a problem.
