I bought this computer in the Staples deal a while back, and there is a lot of info on updating it in this older thread:

Wasted over an hour talking to Lenovo trying get the OS issue resolved. They won't budge.
My only option is to return the unit for a full refund. At least they'll waive the 15% restocking fee. They won't give me the disks and they won't give me a discount.

Is this still available? The links seem to take me nowhere and I need an inexpensive Win7 machine for my garage. This will do just fine.

Wasted lots of time this weekend w/Lenovo. Sending this POS back. 1st & last Lenovo branded item I will be buying. I normally buy manu. refurbs with no issues at all. Not only was this not the advertised machine, wrong OS, different case than specified, etc etc, it plain does not function properly. Getting a full refund with no bs restock fee.
