That G570 Core i3 Sandy Bridge is $270 even including shipping + tax if you use the coupon code. I think that's a solid price for a 2nd gen Core i3 laptop, even if it's refurbished. At least it has warranty, rather than buying it off Craigslist. |

Lenovo doesn't have a lot of details on their site...any way to tell whether these (or other models on the site) have HDMI out?

Just so everyone knows, the EMAIL10 code will not overlap other coupon codes already active. The OUTLETEMPLOYEEPRICE code is better than the email one.

Also FYI, Lenovo's customer support is abysmal. Customer service doesn't have any ability to change orders. I applied the email10 code to an order which already had another coupon applied thinking it would double up, it applied but i didn't realize it was a lesser discount till after i placed the order. I called in to switch out the codes but all they could do was cancel the order and tell me to order a new one, even though the product hadn't shipped and i placed it 20 min before.
The rep also said that 'occasionally' a cancelled order will ship out and will be required to be sent back. Great. I guess i will wait to get a cancellation confirmation (5-6 business days) before ordering a new one. This company is going down hill. Their price point is the only thing keeping them afloat. I I was going to buy a Thinkpad model if anyone is wondering. I have purchased their other models before and the case quality definitely isn't there. |
