Yes but the problem is the only pads you'd be able to use would be the same pads found on the smaller 3" polishers as not too many make 3" pads.
What you could do instead is get a 3.5" backing plate and use 4" pads. That's what I do on mine. The 4" is small enough to get into crevices and on A-Pillars but big enough that there isn't a loss of control. It requires a lot of focus to make sure you are correcting properly.
