Great deal after rebate, I guess they are trying to make room in their warehouse for the new D600. This is a great FF camera even for a 4 year old tech. If you are not highly invested in Lens for canon, I would really look into the D600. It might be the best entry level FF in the market,and pack full of feature that you will not be able to find in the MK2 and the new upcoming 6D.
I love my Canon lens so I will not be switching to Nikon anytime soon, but if I had to choose as of right now which body is ahead of the game I would say Nikon is giving more for the money. Lets hope they do so with their lens too. I hope canon learns their lesson from this year as they have been defeated to the market by Nikon, as they are playing catch up, and bring something new to the table for their body down the road. |
