I honestly have had only good experiences with USPS tracking. While tracking information tends to only be updated a few times a day, the tracking information has always been accurate, and thorough from origin to delivery. It's a far cry from when the service first started years ago. It actually works now.

I'm pretty sure everyone's is being shipped via FedEx SmartPost. Out of my multiple orders, only one has shipped and has an origin from suburban Massachusetts. Transit time is estimated to be over a week to NYC. SmartPost is a complete joke.
Sounds about right, mine is from that MA town as well, going to NJ about an hr west of NY. Not quite a week for delivery though if fedex smartpost is to be believed.

I'm slightly disappointed by the profiteering they appear to be doing on shipping. My order would've easily fit in a small Priority Mail flat-rate box, would've cost them all of $5.15 to ship, so they charged $5.95 instead, and are shipping it via constipated sloth.

That's how a lot of companies make money these days. This is why I have not logged into ebay for about 6 years. Shipping got way too bloated. It's too easy to put some BS in there like "handling" or "packaging" and charge more.

The only reason I got these is that even with the shipping (that I just add to the cost, so $11 for the set) is still the cheapest I've ever seen them.

I got the email on 27th and no upates so far and I am going away for 3 weeks this Friday. I know I can ask usps to hold mail, will they hold packages as well?

Let's not forget the discounts they get for bulk shipping and printing their own labels. Maybe as low as $4 for priority mail.

I can send a priority mail padded envelope (flat rate) for less than $5 with tracking by paying online. $5.10 is the normal online price.

Why do you care how much shipping is? People who only search for "free shipping" on ebay are dumb. The total cost, out of pocket, to you is what counts. Would you rather pay $1 each for 10 with $20 shipping or would you rather pay $10 each for 10 with free shipping???

This was a great deal and we jumped on it because the total cost was appealing. The shipping cost doesn't mean a thing to me.

I have a confirmation number (finally!) but have NO IDEA who it's through. If it's USPS, they can't find it. If it's Fedex, it hasn't been mailed yet...

It starts with 0290.

It is fedex smartpost, so give it a few days to update as it took a few to update after I got mine.

they are sending out this generic response to e-mails. I ask them this: "Just curious if / when my order may ship? The confirmation e-mail i received said my order would be shipped in 5-7 business days, maybe
sooner. Then i would receive another e-mail with tracking. As of today (9th business day) i have not received the item or even a tracking #.

According to their generic response my order should ship by today. I ordered on 9/20 and today makes 2 weeks exactly. They are running in circles right now.
