What do I need to do to get these 3 computers setup on my printer network.

Can anyone help me? I would appreciate your time!

Im trying to understand why you need multiple computers to print coupons? Cant you just use one pc? You mentioned an unique id in the thread, but im guessing the sites track your external ip, which would be the same for each as they are on the same network.
Also remember to turn them off when not in use, those old systems draw at least 150w when on....

I do have them off if they aren't being used.

You guys have me so confused.

I'm trying to do 3 different things to these 3 computers.

Get those 3 added on to the printer so I can print from each of them without having to take the printer cord and plugging it into each as I need to print from them.

Also while I'm at it (if possible) I would like to set things up so I don't have to plug the mouse and keyboard into each one as I need to use them.

And lastly if possible I would like to figure out if there is a better way to share the monitor between the 5 computers that are all sharing the one I have now.

Is this all possible? I would have just gotten 4 netbooks instead BUT these computers were so darn cheap I couldn't pass them up.

So my concern is what this is going to cost me in additional equipment. I'm just trying to keep my cost on this down.

I'm having a tough time understanding all the computer talk you guys are giving me.

So this is my million dollar question. Why can't I just do what I did with my new Dell Laptop to connect to the printer. What is different about these computers than the new one I got? Because the new one is Windows 7??? Because it's a latop as oppsoed to a tower??

I'm not going to jump ahead, but are your mouse and keyboard using PS/2 (round green/purple connectors) or USB connections? Depending on which type would determine which KVM switch you would need and yes you would need a KVM switch in order to share a mouse, monitor, and keyboard amongst all 4 computers.

Your laptop is connecting to a wireless printer if I recall while the HP 1300 is a USB/Parallel wire connected printer so wireless is not an option in order to print the same way as the Dell laptop. So with that you will need the KVM switch to share the mouse, monitor, and keyboard and as far as printing from any computer to that HP 1300, that can be done with some help.
