Using two Amazon Payments accounts is the free way but you'll be charged a temporary charge of $1. It goes away in a week or so.

I think you can also do it by asking for cashback at Shoprite(for example.) but you'll have to set up a pin to do so. Not sure if you can do that.

Yes, Amazon payments is the way to go. I pay my wife, she deposits in our bank account.

You can also probably do it with a free Amex Serve prepaid card account. I've funded it gift cards and credit cards and never been charged a fee on either end. Then can just ATM and get the funds out.

I usually just buy amazon gc's with prepaid cards so a) my wallet isn't packed with cards and b) they won't expire.

I usually just use them for every day expenses, like groceries.

Yes it should work. I have loaded from multiple regular credit cards as well. And no cash advance fees (or fees of any kind) on either end that I've encountered yet.

But there is a limit on how much you can add from your CC per day. It may be as low as $100 a day but not sure.

Hello all, rather than start a new thread I'll just ask in this one as it's not too old.

I won a $500 visa gift card from a contest. It expires this month and I'd like to turn it into cash. It is was sent to me already activated, but I dont think its registered with my address (the issuer requires my SSN to register and I don't want to do that). It says Debit but there's no PIN.

I was thinking of using it to fund my Serve account, but I don't see how that could work if it hasn't got my billing address associated with it. I also have a concern that they may see it as suspicious and shut down my account.
Also, if I decided to buy something online with it, again there is the issue with billing address. Is there anything I can do with this card, any way to turn it into cash, or will I only be able to use it at a B&M store?
