TrueCrypt: Can I change the drive letter?

If I mount my password protected folder, can I go into disk management and change the drive letter from Z to M? Or will that mess up my folder/files and I'll never get them back?

you can mount it as "M" in truecrypt.
what is the point of mounting as z and changing to m?

I have the drive labeled as Z, and every time I open Truecrypt, it highlights the letter Z, so I thought it may be part of the encryption. I'll try this this weekend.

you can mount truecrypt container as any available drive, it does not impact data inside.
you can create favorites for your system and mount during system startup.
in this case truecrypt will prompt you for the password and mount your container
