So I bought 3 pairs for myself and for backups. I will say that, for me, the sound is absolutely horrible with the stock tips. I can't get a good seal at all, and they're just plain uncomfortable. Howeer, when I swapped out the tips for a set that actually does fit well and seals up my ear canal, these things are great. Definitely budget beasts, superior to my Koss KSC-75's, Sennheiser HD202's, and HD201's. I don't have any "high end" headphones anymore since I've moved on to speakers for home listening and prefer cheaper things for on-the-go and gym use, but I will say that these are fantastic for the price once you find a set of ear tips that work for you. I went through probably 6 different sets of tips that I had before I settled on a set, so you really have to be patient, and must have access to a variety of tips if you really want to get the most out of these. For some, the added cost of acquiring tips may completely cancel out the cheap price of these headphones, so it's up in the air as to how much of a value these are.
