Canon SX40 HS Digital Camera $292.38 Clearance at Target B&M YMMV

did any of you guys buy one? i bought one and there were fingerprints and dust all over the camera. the lens cover came attached and the tag that lists the features wasn't attached to the camera. same for any of your guys too?

These are going for $219.98 at Tustin, CA (North Irvine). There were two left in the clearance rack as of 4:30PM today.

$214.98 (50 level) and there're still at least 2 or more BNIB left at the Meyerland store in Houston(0630PM). They are locked behind the display counter. You have to ask for an electronic associate's help.
I would have bought them all if the credit limit on my card still has some more room. Unfortunately my baby already maxed it out earlier last week

Thank you. Was able to use that to find it at two local stores. I already have this camera and love it but passed the info on to two friends who were each able to get it for $215.

Thanks OP! Thanks to this thread I was able to pick one up for 214 today. There were only two left, otherwise I'd have tried to hold out and see if it would go to 130 tomorrow.

Target already purged (deleted) this item outta its DCPI inventory database. This item won't go any lower than the 50% level ($215).

How do you know? Isn't it up to the individual store itself to purge items outta its DCPI inventory? If a particular store still has them in stock why would they delete them from DCPI inventory?

I punched in the DCPI of the item at 3 Target stores in my area this morning and they ALL returned this message "Item not found in system."

My experience with Target clearance items is that once that error message is shown, the item is no longer in their system and the cashier has to input the price manually at the cash register.

Edit to add: one item I saw with my own eyes this morning (that 32 inch Panasonic HDTV on clearance for $160 at some stores) was deleted from the store's DCPI database although I still spotted one hanging on the wall (display model) with the clearance tag of $207.XX. I guess whoever wanna buy that clearance TV has to pay the red clearance tag (punched in manually by the cashier)
