This game is fun to play...Diablo 3 is a chore to play, the game stopped being fun after you grind-ed for 100+ hours and ended up on AH to get any remotely close to "good enough" gears

repping. I already have Torchlight 2 (pre-ordered from a while ago). But happy to see it get out to more people. I have 2 copies of Torchlight 1 (1 came free with T2 purchase).

How IS the game? Sure everyone thinks or thought it would be better than D3 and it may well be but what are people thinking? Another hyped blunder? I got turned off to top down action rpgs after all the freakin delays with D3.

sad that diablo3 at $60 makes millions and this at $15 (and arguably better game with much better DRM/Steam) will not do anywhere near as well

Well I played the beta and was impressed how refined it was. It was even smoother when I played it last night. Of course, I have both TL2 and BL2 to divert my time so I'm not sure what I'll be playing tonight, but it's basically TL1 but improved or alternatively - Diablo 2 with updated graphics, mechanics, and minus the parts of D2 that I found annoying.
