These are on sale at these exact prices every few weeks. I bought 3 from neweggbusiness a few months back for $268. Great monitors, but I think this is their regular prices, IMHO.

I've been waiting for these to hit @250 with no sales tax and free shipping. I know Newegg will have it for around that price soon enough. At least I hope they will. lol

I don't think that stating factual information about price history should ever be considered a "crap." That's good info to know.

Last time these were on sale for this price (8/15-8/21), it was Front Page.

Besides that and one other time (1/03), there isn't much of a history of this monitor being this low.

am a photo enthusiast...and starting to get serious with this hobby. ...I send my pics to labs for printing...

In terms of my needs, is this better or the ASUS PA248Q? OR should I get one of those wide gamut monitor like the Dell u2410?

(I use the computer mainly for photo editing, but also for everything else)

Thanks a lot!

I know the dell website has a better deal, but does anyone know if you are still eligible for the 3-year advanced placement warranty when you order through amazon?

Got it from $279 from a seller on ebay. I've bought from them before and warranty checks out, so I am not worried about that. I wanted to make sure I receive revision A03 and seller assured me that's what I will get. Estimated delivery date is this Tuesday.
I heard from others ordering directly from Dell is a crapshoot when it comes to revision# if you care about that sort of thing.
