How did this thread appear on the first page of HD saying that you posted four minutes ago when there haven't been any new posts for four hours?

Normally, this would've been one helluva deal, but since after the T3i deals, it's no longer the case.

how good is T3i over T3? I'm a beginner at photography, taking that into account, thanks!

If you're just starting out, it won't make a major difference. At first. The T3i offers a lot more room for growth, whereas if you start to realize you really enjoy photography and want to explore it further, you'll feel limited by the T3 relatively quickly.

On another note - lenses are more important for ultimate image quality than which DSLR camera body you use. I highly recommend getting the Canon 40mm f/2.8 or, if on a tighter budget, the Canon 50mm f/1.8 in addition to the other adequate zoom lenses you get from this deal.

Edit: Note that the T3i can be had for not much more than the T3 in similar rebate deals. I recommend the T3i.

B&H may still honor the deal by calling them (http://slickdeals.net/f/5160470-C...e-shipping). It's not available online, but I believe since they received the items back in stock they're honoring phone orders for the T3i bundle.

Are there going to be any more T3i deals before the $400 coupon expires? I was so bummed browsing through the past deals to see how many T3i deals I'd missed, and this coupon is expiring in about 6 days...
