excellent keyboard if anyone needs one. I paid full price for it and while it was a lot, I do not regret it. This is very much like the Mac keyboards.

I have been in the market for an ipad the last week and this was the keyboard I settled on. I was in-store at best buy last night with this thing in my hand ... and I had this feeling come over me to just wait it out for a deal. I am a wizard, and this is awesome!

I was going to get one before i read the reviews on amazon about the glue wearing off and the ipad not sticking in the hinge. Also they are saying its leaving streaks and residue from the rubber of the keyboard. One person even wrote that it broke his screen. So i decided to back off.

Bought and returned from Costco a couple of weeks ago. If you have any type of back case on your iPad be prepared to take it on and off as it doesn't allow the iPad to fit perfectly in the slot.

does this fold back like a book cover or you have to take it off everytime you use the ipad?
edit: i guess not. plus the rubber strip coming off issue is stopping me. Last edited by deshwasi; 09-23-2012 at 10:43 AM.. desh

I'm confused by the reviews. Does the ipad sit securely in the stand when in use, or is there a risk of it falling out while typing? I'm looking for something to sit on the lounge and type with - even why my 4 year old is bouncing about. I was waiting on a deal for the Trent Airbender, but is this safe? Thank you

Have the older version that someone linked which doesn't have the magnet, and the iPad clicks in. This is tempting, but I'll refrain from getting another keyboard just for that.
klikd, yes, it is quite secure in there, it has not fallen out on me while using it. I feel safer leaving it in landscape somewhere where it might fall than I do in portrait. |

Nothing wrong with refurbs. I've had a refurb Vizio TV, iphone, iPad and a Dyson with never any issues. In for 1!

I've had this on my Amazon wish list for a long time. Don't really like buying refurbed electronics but this is too good of a deal.
