yeah the online orders people did are billed at the zip code that qualified. amex doesn't have a way to verify if you bought it online or at the store physically. now that you have to call amex, you will have to explain that u purchased it online.

if you can get the credit, that's great. but im just explaining from what the standard procedure is so far

I posted a quote from the terms. It specifically said "in store purchases qualify" and no "online only" merchants. I grant you that it sounds like they intend for this to be in store only at the qualifying merchants, but it doesn't explicitly say that you can't order online.

if you have been following my posts -- like i said, in the past it's usually for in-store purchases. of course many of us here (including me) have purchased online and got the credit because it was billed at the exact address.

Does any know two different cards used on the same business qualifies? I made 2 different charges on 2 registered at a same business but have got credit for only 1 card.

as long as you signed up with two different card numbers and registered both of them, you should get credit for both.

Still waiting for credit on my Sunday purchases, but they haven't posted so far and thus not worried just yet...

For orders that should've been credited but weren't due to the billing address issues, who are you guys contacting? Amex secure message? Regular customer service?

all credits posted but amex put a fraud alert on all c/c's for larry bean charges. Just had to call and go over charge on all cc's

All my credits posted but my Larry's Beans certificates are still invalid...

I got emails acknowledging the credit for 3 of the businesses today (Larry's Beans, ESP Emporium, Beauty Dive). Haven't seen anything for Cycle Works for Cumming yet, but I think that may be because their charge is the only one that hasn't got from pending to posted. Haven't seen any actual credits to my accounts yet though.

All my orders were placed on Sunday.

I have not received credit for cycle works (purchase date 10/3). I tweeted @AskAmex and was responded to by Rachel, she had me email through the secure messaging service, and should be issuing my credit. I think she can do it for my citi Amex card, too.

Has anyone gotten any pushback from Amex when requesting maual credit for purchases? Have they taken the position at all that a store that you purchased from wasn't eligible? (e.g., because the business wasn't listed, isn't a small business, isn't a brick and mortar store, etc.)
