AMEX Sync - $20 Back on $200 Purchase at Best Buy - 09/21/2012 to 10/31/2012

Heads up for anyone who might've forgotten...been putting it off and I just made a purchase today

I've been putting this off too and I just took a look at foursquare and I don't see the deal and the "Load to Card" button. Also went to Facebook and can't find that deal.

And I can't use the americanexpress website because the card is thru Citi. (I've gotten the twitter and foursquare rebates before).

Any ideas?

I got it through facebook..I loaded it onto my card a while ago so unfortunately I can't check if the offer is there any more. sorry

Hi lordoff, did you get an email from Amex confirming that you would receive credit for your purchase today? I made a purchase via a card synced with 4square today, did not get a notification through the app.

That happen to me on my purchase on 10/27. I email AMEX this morning and got a reply within a few hours that my card wasn't synced with 4square but they are going to credit my account with $20. It was odd because I did get an email confirmation from 4square that my card was synced but no email for the purchase.

I wonder if I refunded my merchandise from bestbuy and would the statement credit be reversed as well?

What if I bought something for $200 after the returned merchandise ?

Read the terms and conditions:

...Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled...

Yeah.. I know but,

What if I paid $500 on my AMEX card and received the $20 statement credit and then disliked the merchandise. So then, what if I made an exchange of $200 to visa pre-paid cards ( I should be able to keep the $20 statement credit) and the remaining 300$ would be refunded back to my american express card?

Please answer this question as I should have opted for a prepaid card of $200 instead of a $500 transaction

In my experience, you can contact the cs and let them know you are returning your 1st order and placing another order for the qualifying amount. They will manually add the credit back to your account.
