Nice TV

I got BestBuy to pricematch the 6500 they had in store at Dell's 5500 price.

There's a pretty big thread at avforums [avsforum.com] with a lot of discussion on the optimal settings and all that. The overall consensus is that it's a great value.

I love it and think the picture quality is amazing, but I'm also not an expert or anything.

PS: This doesn't look like your standard "black friday [major name brand / generic ] door buster 50i plasma". The bezel is really nice and thin, and the amount of configuration you can do is pretty amazing. It's just a nice looking TV, on or off.

Hmm $400 for a 1080p 50" plasma - if that comes I think I'll have 2-3 plasmas in my house in just over a month!

black friday tv's are gimped, not always slam dunk better deal waiting for that. plus quantities are limited

Picked up one of these for $540 after Discover Cashback last time. Very happy with the set, would recommend it.
