i guess we'll find out in 6 weeks or so! boy the excitement is really something, huh? hopefully we can manage to find new things that we can all continue to bicker about in the meantime.
Rumble, young man, rumble. These are interesting times we live in. Punctuation is key. Fruit is nature's candy.

The polls were not skewed, biased, oversampled or wrong. I was. There was no wave, no landslide, I was wrong about that too. Nate Silver is the gold standard of polling analysis.

Its amazing that you can post such an insane conspiracy theory on slickdeals and not have legions of conservatives distancing themselves from the idea. In fact you have many conservatives believing it.
Why is it that i have to untangles such huge webs of bullshit from your guys links? Can you bother to ever post the primary source or do you have to have 3 interpretations of it from 3 different conservative blogs before i find the original story? Heres what i found after digging through pj media which linked to examiner which linked to fox news http://video.foxnews.com/v/177384...-8-6-2012/

![]() I'm sure you will not have any problem at all if pollsters were oversampling republicans by 11% or more, right? at least have the decency to admit that there is something wrong with that practice....but I doubt you will.
![]() The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism',they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened - Norman Thomas,6-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people, too much authority from the States, and too much liberty with the Constitution - R. As always its impossible to argue with conspiracy theorists.
"wtf? ten crackpot scientists in some-non-climate-field have declared global warming a "fraud"? must be a fraud then... the rest of the scientists are in on it!!!" "a doctor says obama wasnt born in america. The rest of the doctors are in on it and covering it up!! wheres the birth certificate obama??" "two fox-news "analysts" who do not agree with a single democratic movement have declared there to be a media wide polling conspiracy, somehow including even conservative polling companies. rest of the pollsters and polling companies are in on it!!" Literally your argument boils down to "its weighted wrong because these two guys say so" Perhaps... just perhaps... two tools whose careers consist of fox news "analyst" (say whatever newscorp wants you to say) are not the end all be all of authoritative figures of how polling companies weigh certain results. Look, if the polling companies want to provide an explanation why they think that this year's Dem-Rep spreadsin their polls are accurate, then let them provide such an explanation. Because to date, no such explanation has been provided to explain why these polls are giving Democrats 7 and 8 point advantages, and, in some cases, like last week's WaPo poll in Virginia, ten+ point advantages to Democrats.
It's clearly a concerted effort by the media to suppress GOP voter turnout. What, like to so-called good Republicans that are all now dead? We see Democrats appealing positively to the days of Reagan. Soon enough it will be W's turn. Last edited by jonsmith74; 09-25-2012 at 09:13 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

![]() Its so weird how all polling companies are somehow part of the liberal media whenever anything that disagrees with conservative reality pops up (like the Mississippi miscegenation poll) Basically you republicans are rapidly trying to make up excuses as to why polling companies have "over-sampled" democrats. They point to the past and say "look there were lots of independents in 2008 and not as many democrats", now in 2012 theyre saying all polling companies have become part of the evil liberal media overnight and have thrown away all their old sampling methods and adopted ones to skew it towards the democrats. Perhaps they sampled correctly and the party that polarized people with an amazing 3 year streak of "wheres the birth certificate" and tea-party beliefs is not as popular with registered voters as it once was. |

2010 both parties in dead heat.
This year, GOP advantage in party affiliation. Yet, pollsters are sampling Democrats at +7 or more. And despite that, and the media's insistence that every week is Romney's worst week, Obama's lead is +1 to +3 and within the margins. Yeah, nothing to see here. Nothing at all. Lol. |

LOL Democrat skewed polls suppresses GOP voter turnout? If there really was a conspiracy to from all the pollsters to skew democrat, wouldn't that actually invigorate the GOP voters to come out and vote? If all the pollsters wanted the GOP to lose, they would release poll results drastically in-favor of the GOP candidate...thus pacifying the rabid and foaming-at-the-mouth GOP base...which would result in less GOP turnout and more liberal turnout. |
