How is Serve really different from other debit cards? I just don't see it, their website has nothing convincing, do they have frequent promotions or something?

I've been thinking about getting a card and keeping it in my bag at all times for emergency use.

Because we were chosen to take the survey; not everyone was, and we knew the payment would take 4-6 weeks.

What company were you already signed up with to receive the invite? I never saw who the source of the survey was throughout this thread.

Still waiting on my $10 to appear. I hope its $20 since the T&C had conflicting amounts.

My $20 appeared this morning in my account. So we actually get $20 rather than just $10. Good deal!!

Unlike other prepaid cards, your able to fund your account instantly from a moneypak, debit or credit card without any load fee's until June 2013. You may also load the account with your bank account, however it may take up to 5 business days to become available in your account. (for a debit or credit cards and free bank account loads. You may also load the account with moneypak.) It's backed by American Express with 24/7 support. With this service, you are able to create sub-accounts, which fee is also waived,to send money to children, family members and such. I personally haven't had a problem with Serve as I have only loaded the account with funds. I'm not sure if there is an inactivity fee and if there is one, what the inactivity fee would be as I am interested in using it for emergency purposes as well.
