CVS October 2012 monthly ECB deals

btw can someone get pictures of the monthly deal? im going to try if i can but im always running late so i cant ever get time to take pics cuz most times with nice monthly deals and high value coupons none of the cvs around my place have any thing left so i grab what ever i need and leave since searching for weekly and monthly deal items all my time gets wasted and it gets close to closing.

It was a mailer type paper with a small square cardboard style coupon on it. I'm pretty sure it was from the nexxus site from requesting a free sample.

Saw that too! I went in there with the $2/2 MQ and $2/2 CRT expecting to use a %Q because they would be regular price. But its free with the $2/6 sale and the MQ and CRT.

I am thinking the $2ECB is the monthly part and that this week is a bonus with it being on sale as well.

will its not that bad of an amount i once can do all the good ecb deal cvs has and with coupons i can always spend that much i never had more then $10-$15 and in the past i used all my coupons and my total would always go down to $5 before tax and i always had gotten worried since i didn't want to use up my $10-$15 ECB on things i didn't need and werent worth but that was when i used to buy $20 worth stuff since i started doing $60-$100 worth deal with $4/$20, $5/$25, or $10/$50 cvs coupons i can always get the same amount of money back or even more and only pay tax.

but that high coupon would have been grate if it was the week of BF buy all the grate stuff that were going to be free and moneymaker this $70 ECB if its not going to expire any time soon use it then if it was mine hehehe

cuz last year i bought everything and my receipt was sooo long it kept printing and the customer's were like O0O and the cashier as will....

so i cant wait for this BF i dont mind if its a good sale this time or not but i want another long receipt. lol

I'm sure this was asked in a weekly thread but I could find it. Does anyone one know if the travel/trail sizes of Nexxus or Nexxus hairbrushes count towards the Nexxus deal?

The small bottles counted for me a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if they are trial size, but they're the little ones located in the aisle with the regular Nexxus products, priced at $3.xx and $4.xx here.

The ones in the trial/travel section are definitely different and 99% sure that won't count.
First, the small bottles in the regular section are tagged for ecb and similar size ones in the trial/travel section are not tagged
Second, last month during similar Nexxus deal there was a sale on trial/travel Buy 1 get 1 50% off and the Nexxus in the trial/travel section indeed rang that way.

Nexxus trial size in the travel aisle worked for me last month...bought the Humectress, Therappe, and the hair spray.

The Dove was still tracking for me last night after the new ad was turned on.

Turning the new ad on doesn't turn off the old deals. Anything that doesn't conflict with a new sale will continue to work through <midnight, I assume...all my stores close way before then, so I'll never be an expert on whether this happens exactly at midnight or not>. We can't tell if a deal is dead until the old ad has fully run its course!

I can confirm that what z390z says has merit. There are certain small products - priced between $3 and $4.50 - that are on the shelf just above the big ones that are tagged for the deal and work. There is a hair spray tagged for the deal. There is another hair spray that is stored in the trial/travel size. The hair spray that is in the trial/travel size area does NOT work for the deal.

Be careful, though, as I have noticed the ones that don't work have been put on the shelf in error. You can match the codes on the sales tag with the codes on the bottles to make sure you get the product that works.

hi! i wasn't intending on doing the Nexxus deal, but of course got suckered in b/c I found a BOGO package of the ProMend line - it's a full size (13.5 oz) ProMend Daily Conditioner + a full size (9 ox) ProMend Bodifying Mousse. The conditioner normally retails for $16.99 in my store, and I think the Mousse is $14.99.

What I did is:
BOGO pkg $16.99
Small 1 oz Extra Gel $3.49
Sub-TTL $20.48
Used 4/20
Nexxus CRT $3 (my store takes expireds)
20% Off (from last week) took off $2.70 (I guess the manually entered CRT, even though it says on the receipt CVS MFR COUPON was deducted from the 20%-able amount)
TOTAL $10.78
Received the $10 ECB

Not bad, right?
