First DSL can never be as fast as cable and often is less reliable. That said for many it is the best option. many homes and commercial areas still do not have cable access. I find it shocking.. That said I am running off of DSL because Comcast kept going down and their service was horrible. It took 30 minutes to cancel my service I was put on hold and then a retension dick wasted 15 minutes of my life trying to get me a better deal. I had to drop off their crappy modem, another 15 minutes in line. I get the they said my account wasn't canceled, I got sick of waiting for some manager to approve something so I just took the modem and went home. I plugged it in and sure enough it was still up. I used it for another 3 months until the service was cut off. They started calling me to get the modem back.. lol.. When ever it was a girl calling I would tell them I was busy jerking off and tell them they smelt nice. When it was a guy I asked them if I could talk to a nice smelling female instead. lol. I threw the crappy modem on a garage shelf. Someone actually came by my house.. lol.. OMG I had so much fun annoying the crap out of her.. I kept going and finding random computer routers and modems. Each time I would yell "FOUND IT" and would come running to the door all excited. She gave up when I came to the door with the toaster. Comcast sent me a bill, I filed a suit in small claims court. they called the next day. They offered to clear my account of all charges, if I dropped the claim. I said sure but you have to go fark yourself too. I was very specific, that they had to go fark themselves or I wouldn't drop the claim. She kept saying "but you don't have to pay anything" and I said "sound great but I need you all to go fark yourself or we are going to court... She hung up and called back the next day and asked if I could have a mature conversation, I said, no. lol. It got old and she see seemed to imply that all my requests would be considered. I got my email stating that my account was closed and paid in full, I never did find out if they farked themselves.

I still laugh when I get xfinity offers in the mail.
