Temporary Ban process
The process when a user receives a temporary ban is either broken or needs a serious rethink.Let's pretend a "friend" of mine said something in The Podium that the mods didn't care for and

At a minimum, I suggest the site should load in a timely manner with an informative and accurate message. I.e. " you have been temporarily banned ending x:00 on y date" . Even better would be access to an explanation of why one ws banned.
Best and most sensible case IMO would be to simply remove posting ability from a user during a temporary ban. |

A. It takes a lot to get you a temp ban, so don't act like an idiot next time.
B. You should still be able to access the site regardless of a temporary ban. Delete your cookies and make sure your login credentials aren't saved and you will visit the site as a guest. There's no way for them to tell that you were banned if you aren't logged in and I doubt they do IP logging.

 I'm just wondering what had to of been typed to get a temp ban. We do all sorts of stupid stuff in the Lounge on a daily basis, and barely even get warnings. I believe I've found the solution to obesity in America. Hemispherectomy....no one uses it anyway.

  edit: just glanced over the Lounge Rules... "No noob bashing". Wow. Thank goodness this isn't strictly enforced, otherwise our warning points would give Selma's reps a run for their money. |
