American Express Small Business Saturday coming November 24, 2012 same $25.00 statement credit

Hmmm, my purchase with Macy's AmEx was made at a restaurant on 11/24 but it shows up on 11/26. I'll give it a few more days but then I may have to call them to sort that out.

I agree that the CSRs have no idea. Many of us contacted CS within the first couple days of the Gift Chain promotion last year and they could not help us because they had no idea what was going on. It took several days for them to get the memo with all of the info that they needed. These promotions come out of the marketing department and they don't do the best job of communicating with the CSRs. So I would say that no, the CSR have no idea what is coming. They will learn about it when we do, if last year is any indication.

I'm in the same boat. Only credit that didn't go through was the one at the pump at the gas station. Was there some gas exclusion somewhere that I missed?

I also had a "glitch" with a gas station purchase at an eligible store. No confirmation email and no credit, unlike my other cards. So I sent a secure online message via my account; a CSR did a quick check and manually processed the $25 credit.
