I'm sorry but it seems like you have a hard time understanding basic English. Let me break it down for you:
The solution you proposed in your earlier post was to search using "google.com".
The solution you're proposing in your last (quoted) post is using the slickdeals.net website search.
These are 2 different searches, powered by 2 different search engines, which means it's not one and the same. They also return different results on the same search string/query, if that isn't somehow evident to you.
As far giving US a bad name, your display of dumbness isn't helping the cause.
Also, if you read my original post in this thread (given you're not lazy at all and bothered to read and understand what the other person is saying), you will see that I stated that I searched using 3 different (relevant) strings, neither of which yielded the result. Eventually, I had to manually find this thread since I know it existed.
Your failure to comprehend basic English is EPIC!. Before you say something, take a couple minutes to think what you're saying, cause you're failing to grasp the crux of the matter, which is - the search engine on this website is not efficient.
Way too much effort trying to explain your failed attempt at using something as simple as a Search function. Move along.
Is there a number to call to verify if a store is 'small business'?
Yeah, call up the store and ask for the manager. Ask them how many employees, how many franchises, and if they do more than $10 million in sales annually.
To give you an idea how "big" small businesses can be, car dealerships qualify for the credit. Ace hardware qualifies. Submarina franchises qualify. DDS/medical services qualify. Supermarkets the size of Albertsons/Vons but not Albertson/Vons qualify.
Yes agreed that everyone should post responsibly, but my point is if the search doesn't work efficiently you really can't blame the user. If I have to key in 3 words from the title in a certain manner to bring up the result, then I don't think the search function on the site is working very well. My original post was for the guy who was getting all worked up due to it; seems like an overreaction to me over something so minor.
You're also assuming "mods are too busy to search for repost themselves". You do understand that this site generates revenue, and it is a standard practice to appoint people who are responsible for site monitoring/moderation which includes responsibilities such as this, right?
You just need to learn how to search. Next time, check the box for "Search Thread Titles only" or "Search First Post only". It pop up on top by "American Express" or "Small business".
If I need to submit 10 repost alerts to modulators everyday, image how many reposts they need to merge.
