i think i have a thing/fetish for computer mice, i have 5 spare ranging from gaming, wireless, laptop and still i feel like i want to buy this one too. sigh..........

I got a bunch of 525s and 510s from the previous Staples deal. The 525 is a decent mobile mouse or for those with smaller hands. I prefer the 510 myself, but I use it with a desktop.

So if you want something to carry around with your laptop, it's fine. Otherwise it may be too smallish for desktop use. It's also good for children, gave one to my 9 year old nephew --- fits his hands perfectly.

The m525 is better than the m705 mouse though (in my opinion). The scroll wheel on the m705 is way too wobbly... unless I just got a bad one. I probably should look into trying to get it replaced with the warranty or something... feels like I am scrolling drunk with it... all over the place.

looks like they are trying to get rid of the colors not even blind people would like, this one looks lile a sewer-green color, wonderful

looks like a bad mix of military greens to me...looks cool!

I don't recommend M505. It failed to track without a mouse pad after 5 months. I'm not going to carry a mouse pad to the meetings. I no longer buy logitech mouse out of principle.

I have a range of Logitech items from a Harmony remote to a wireless keyboard/mouse combo to a number of smaller mice for travel to a set of speakers and have had the exact opposite experience. The only problem I've had is one of my wireless keyboard/mouse combos failed after 2 1/2 years. Luckily, the item had a 3 year warranty and I had a new model at my house in just a couple days. I will only purchase Logitech products.

Have you contacted customer service? Last I heard, they were pretty good about things like that.
