Will there be any way to unlock Sprint iphone 5?

she's only there for 2 weeks, so its not that big of a deal.

Sprint unlocked our 5's the day after we bought them. we tested one already it it is unlocked for overseas sim

I wouldnt talk to an normal sprint csr if you pulled my nails out. I said : "connect me to the international department" and the people who specifically handled this took care of it.

I know this is an old thread but has anyone tried getting Sprint to unlock a bad ESN iPhone 5? I'm a longtime customer for almost 10 years (thanks SERO) but my gf wants to use an iPhone when we travel. So I was thinking of going on Craigslist to get one for cheap. Thanks in advance everyone.

sprint won't do anything for Bad ESN as bad ESN = Stolen/lost/Warranty replacement

For the 1st 2 its obvious, for the 3rd its technically property of sprint/insurance company.
When you warranty claim a phone, you're obligated to mail it back to carrier/insurance company.

For example, my father thought he lost his Incredible, asurion had verizon Ban the ESN and sent him a replacement phone.
We found his phone 2 months later, called back verizon who told us the phone's technically property of Asurion and to send the phone back to Asurion.
When we asked if we could reactivate the found phone and send the replacement back (as the replacement was a refurb) they said no as the time lapse has been too long.
