if I took this knife set and was able to cut up everything I own, it would be less than the price of these $160 knifes.

Great deal, IMO is the 2nd best on the market, close enough to Shun!

Bad deal if you look what is included in this set. I was almost tricked until I saw the only good knife is the 8" chef's knife. The rest of the stuff included is garbage, only three of those pieces of trash are even knives.

4" paring knife
5" serrated utility
6" utility knife
9" sharpening steel
kitchen shears
hardwood storage block

You're better off buying some victorinix knives separately and putting them in your current knife block with your current shears and sharpener.

Any knife that is serrated is pure garbage. These knives are not worth it at any price. (Unless like 29.99 Either just get a real cheapo set of straight knives with a sharpener or get the really expensive stuff. I recommend Cutco but a set of that can be $500 to $700 and there is never a slick deal on that

Can't go wrong with the most expensive knives Ikea sells. Slitbar line I think they are.

We got this set as a wedding present. It's fantastic, especially at this price. The only thing that doesn't get constant use is the 6" utility non-serrated knife.

If you've never had a good set of knives, but are wanting to make your kitchen life a bit easier, these are for you. Ignore the knife snobs, as nothing is ever good enough for them!

First off, the knives are fantastic. I have a set from our wedding 12 years ago and it's still sharp. Even if they were terribad, you can still turn up your nose at people and say that you bought your set at Bloomingdales! woot!
