I got the windforce deal and it runs like a dream. Hasn't gone above 40 degrees yet for any of my games; e.g. Witcher 2 w/ ubersampling borderlands 2 at max; and my case fans are louder than the card under load... so I just turned my case fans all the way down and they're still louder than the windforce's fans :3. It's awesome! EVGA is good too though, they have pretty great customer support and forums from my experiences. The only thing that made me sad about the gigabyte was it didn't come with a vga to dvi converter for my old ass monitor but I just bought one from newegg for like 5 bucks with shoprunner shipping and used the HDMI from my TV until I got it.

Its under the deal on page 1; the wiki post or whatever same deal, actually DEAL for $5 LESS than the one in the title with NO coupon code, just one mail-in rebate.

Some of us pay sales tax on Newegg and not on TigerDirect, I also have a $10 credit at TigerDirect... sigh.

Somebody posts a cautionary tale about the level of customer "service" one might expect to receive from 3VGA and you get all super creative and invent this retort that will surely become a go-to interwebs meme in the future...incredible stuff, I feel privileged to be getting in on the ground floor.

3VGA has a great reputation, but after my own miserable experience with their 670 FTL I've come to understand at the end of the day there truly isn't any difference between buying HIS, Asus, Zotac or whomever - your CS experience is going to blow equally regardless of the vendor. This one guy had the audacity to give consumers a totally useless heads up based on real experience but damn if Chozer didn't just go all Chozer...I mean, really, that cool story thing was brilliantly original, I can't believe about a million people didn't think of it first but - credit where its due - you rocked balls and beat the world to the punch there; deftly played, scrote!
