Best buy has always been known to be a huge rip off. I dont blame them for trying to survive. ohh and the pushy sales people who dont know anything about the products they sell, but still try and push an extra warranty plan on an item that already comes with a 1year manufacturers warranty. no thanks.

Most people do not need instant gratification and can wait a couple of days to save big money by ordering from an online retailer. This is why they will one day go out of business like the wiz, circuit city and all the other outdated brick and mortar stores.

just my 2 cents.
I agree though if we don't support the Big Box stores, future online purchases will be sight unseen (without Best Buy there to stock items).

They are now even price matching based on a sweet deal I got on a TimeCapsule recently.

I hear you on the warranties but there is also a major convenience factor to bringing something broken and walking out with a new one, rather than playing the FexEx/UPS game.

I've called them Worst Buy many times but it would be worse if there was only Walmart and Target stocking low end junk locally.

The rules say "who are Best Buy Reward Zone program members in good standing to whom the Offer is sent via email"

So maybe you guys are not in "good standing". Maybe returning to much stuff or using the paid extended warranties took you out of "good standing".
Or maybe BB just doesn't like you.
just a guess.

LOL so they only give out these 'special coupons' to people who spend more than $2500 in a given period? and you guys get $5 back. you're all retarded LOL
...or you're retarted. I enjoyed my $180 laptops and $150 netbooks from last Black Friday. Along with the $250 Dell Core i3 laptops. $200 eMachines laptops. $50 Harmony One remote.

Just because we spend $2500+ doesn't mean it's on overpriced junk.

Good standing is just a statement. I have exchanged items a LOT, and I got the email at 4:00am EST. Check your Junk Mail, but if you regularly receive your email from reward zone, then it shouldn't be a problem. I am a silver member too.
