curious if there was any update on these returns...??

I was able to score this tv at my local electronics store, video only in Portland . I signed up for the epp the night before, walked in the store and found the tv. Pulled up the $675 price on my phone and asked if they price matched. sales guy checked it out with his manager came back with $680.. I took it. Especially because i just moved to a state with no tax, $680 even.. Bought myself 2 glasses, panasonic 3-D blu ray also price match to $92 from the site.. Couldn't be happier total was $812 for everything.. Their sale price on the tv was $799, so regardless i still feel like scored. . Best part was there was really no haggling.. I showed the sales guy the prices on panny site and he matched up. I was planning on trying this at best buy. But i had heard great reviews about this place from many locals. So i decided to try giving my business to a much smaller company first and it came out better than expected ...

As for the tv.. Sickk !! still in the little break in period but, thew in a 3-D movie to check it out. Awesome!! If no place was gonna match the price i was going with the(U50) U54 at costco. basically same tv minus the 3D for $600. For the $80 more so happy i got this instead..

Thats the only reason i tried to find this deal local. Seems as though this deal is still live on the site, but this thread has died down...

I have an EEP account and it keeps saying $789 for me.

i guess its different for everyone depending on when you signed up..idk.. I signed up thursday night. Im still getting $675 all the way through to he end of the check out.

Yeah, just click the link on the first page... It's quirky if you log in, but I always get the discount after signing-out add clearing cookies.

Anyways, I ordered UT50 5 days ago... they emailed 4 days ago saying it's backordered...

and the only thing related to availability was that estimated shipping is 1-3 days. No update yet... ugh, wish i just went through paulstv / amazon. manufacturers have the worst CS and really not looking forward to having to contact them.

i ordered on Monday too. It still shows backup ordered.
