Anyone ever use one of these? I have been wanting one for the bed in our guest room because the mattress is really firm. I'm not sure if a 2" thick one will make much of a difference though. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I took a superfirm mattress (that will last forever) my wife was complaining about and put a 1 inch memory foam top on it. The bed is great now.

I bought something similar from Costco and used it on our bed for a while. Then bought a new pillowtop mattress and this became useless so have been using it as an extra guest mattress.

Anyone know where I can buy a full cover for mattress toppers which covers all sides? Thanks.

It doesn't WEIGH 4 lbs, it has 4 lb density. These mattress toppers are pretty heavy. Anyway thanks for posting this, my husband and I were looking for a replacement for our current topper and this is half the cost of the ones we were looking at and the same size / style as our current one - so perfect!

The 'weight' is on a volumetric basis (not the actual weight of the product), so it directly equates to density. In other words, the density of a 4-pound 2" topper is the same as that of a 4-pound 3" topper.

i had one on a cheap waaay stiff mattress. it was great.

i now have a tempurpedic, and don't notice a difference lol. my gf says otherwise tho...

the topper is now used as a guest mattress... thats right, a mattress on its own on my hardwood floor with nothing else, and my guests said they slept great, as the 4lb density doesn't bottom out the foam. but id only suggest it for sleeping and lying flat... other activities where you are on your knees/elbows etc won't be good, as this will bottom out the foam.
