They just took the controllers out and are trying to get the play and charge kits.

I also asked him about the security of the site and he mentioned they do have an SSL certificate, and they are insured against any forms of fraud. He said they are working on a website redesign as their existing one is a bit primitive which explains the goofy checkout.

I got a shipping notification today for the 2 kits I ordered, I'll let you know when I get them.

mine just shipped.
ordered another one for back-up as this is a good price if this is indeed a OEM microsoft one.

it seems between now and then (09-26-2012 11:17 PM) they only had 12 orders, not counting my 2 orders, judging from the order numbers i got.

not yet. USPS says i'll receive it in the middle of next week. i'll let you know when i get it.

just use a burner CC, a gift card, or a prepaid card if you feel like it. it does not use https so it is risky even though the website is legit.

i've mail ordered stuff from japan by sending my CC info including CVV via email EEK!

so yeah i can take the risk by using a CC that will expire shortly.
