Contract Without social security number

prvns 4,895 908 September 26, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Say I get a phone with 2year contract but I did not give my social security number. I still manage to get a phone for $200 + activation fee + $50 monthly...

No my question is... if I terminate the contract should I still pay termination fee or what will happen next?

As long as you're not paying by cash without fingerprints, you are on the grid. The phone company will hire collection agency and they will send you multiple notice mails following by phone calls and eventually someone will knock on your door.

If you want to terminate the contract, you probably want to read the fine print of the contract on what you have to pay for early termination.

You had to have given some form of payment, made an electronic signature, and had to have given some form of alternative communication (phone, email, etc) so they can look you up and stick the ETF to you.

If you don't give social security number, you will have to give a deposit of atleast $500. This will be refunded back to you after 2 years when your quit. This will be used in case of EFT or nonpayment of dues.

You'll get crazy newbies who call 3x a day for 2 weeks straight, and post argumentative paranoia demanding the rebate is guaranteed, in writing, by certified mail, on their doorsteps, by tomorrow evening. Then all the other newbie sheep freak out, and THEY call 3x a day, for 2 weeks straight, and the paranoia explodes. And suddenly everyone's carting their paper back to the retailer demanding a refund.
