Didn't check the links, but good pants don't usually come cuffed, but are added by your tailor later, so it wouldn't be surprising if none of the pants in those links have cuffs.

Pleats and cuffs both serve a purpose and some people will always wear them for that reason. Personally, I don't wear, or like, pleats either, but cuffs keep me from looking too leggy. If you're tall, or just have long legs, then cuffs break the line from your waist to your shoes, which makes your legs look shorter and your torso longer. Nothing wrong with that.

Pleats prevent your pant leg from riding up when you sit, which is an even bigger problem for bigger people. Just because the current style is flat front, non-cuffed pants, it doesn't mean that you're a bad dresser if you wear anything else. This is especially true for cuffs, because many people who pride themselves in being fashionable prefer cuffs, because some people just like them better then non-cuffed pants.

actually ..in my experience

good quality wool will usually be wrinkle free if they are folded correctly...and perhaps even more importantly hung straight overnight

Wool alone will wrinkle. And no matter what you do you got to iron. Psychologically speaking I can't wear a trouser if its not ironed no matter what the fabric.

why are you ironing?

about every piece of best quality high end mens clothing I have ever seen is "dry clean only"

My S/O was all ready to get a pair, then posed a question - Were these dry clean only? So I asked Tanga customer service and got this reply:

There's no way you can put these in the washer and get a good result. Definitely dry clean only.
