Just got back from IKEA in brooklyn, NY looking for the $50 FJELLSE full [ikea.com] bed frame but found the HOPEN full [ikea.com] bed frame for $79 + mid beam $10 = $89. list price is $149 online. YMMV!!

Can anyone reproduce this? I need an inexpensive full frame bed and this would be perfect. Nearest Ikea is about 45min away though...

I have the Queen version of this. Have had it for about 2 months now. It seems solid enough but be careful when assemblying to not scratch it!

Was just in IKEA - West Sacramento and it was not advertised but the sales person said it was showing up $79 on their system for the FULL size.

But since there was no HDMI; I didn't pick it up.

try the IKEA in Jersey (Elizabeth) that's where we went for most of our big purchases when we moved to the city...it's further than taking the water taxi but saved us a bunch from NY tax...plus our parents live near there so we killed 2 birds with one stone going out there lol

This bedframe looks very similar to the Malm. I wonder if just the headboard is different between the two. Anyway, when I was researching the Malm, people were complaining that the wide side beams make it uncomfortable to get out of bed. Seemed like the side beams were always in the way when they rolled out of bed. Kinda makes sense visually but I don't have that bed so I don't know for sure. $79 is a good price for the Hopen is a great price though.
