Amazon android appstore matches google play price drops to $0.25

Does the Amazon app store charge tax? If they do, gonna have to go with Google Play.

Not so much actually. S#&^^y google play kept crashing my tablet's. Samsung is allergic to Google play(can't tell you how awesome it was finding that out from the Tmobile tablet service dork) Delete cache and restart gets old REALLY fast. Not to mention that all my devices can pull easily from amazon, and that isn't the case with play. It's a misery to have 5 devices with google play. With Amazon app you just log in and go.


There are lots of reasons to use Amazon instead of play and you don't seem to know any of them. If you prefer play fine, I can respect that, but preference isn't a terribly valid reason to make a definitive statement like that.

I don't hate play on the phones (I despise it on the tablets) but it's nowhere near as good at meeting my needs as Amazon. It can be a resource hog for sure and the updating on some apps is most definitely lethargic. Put that up against the 150+ apps and multiple devices I can manage easily and without much BS or skipping around and Play is the crap option for my needs.

Not trying to start a pissing match either, it only matters because that was my attitude when Amazon Apps launched I got tired of the 3 hour calls to tmobile tech support and doing the cache clearing hokey mf'ing pokey and DL'd amazon. The pro's significantly outweigh the cons for my needs.

Play is a fine app, but there are some conditions that make Amazon Apps the better option.
