Brightest 9005/HB3 light bulbs?

DKTVPN 3,508 1,815 September 26, 2012 at 10:12 PM
I couldn't see my high beam when flashing with stock bulbs, replaced with Narva Power 50 with not noticeable improvement. I did a research with a lot of infos: SilverStars Ultra, Vision Plus 80, HIR 2011 (9005 compatible), Hoen, ... but don't know which one is the brightest. Also I don't have money to buy them all to test, I already spent on Narva Power 50. Anyone has experience with any of above or different bulbs?

P.S. I'm using 55W HID for low beam and 35W HID for fog lights.

well with a similar wattage you will get about the same lumens out, the temp 3500 5000 etc can effect the perception of how bright the lights are but that is about it, did you check your alighnment of the lamps in the reflector?

This is for HID but the color is the same

Thanks for your reply!

My car is just a couple months old with a little over 2.000 miles on it, so I don't think the alignment is off. I'm using 4500K for the 55W low beam HID and 4300K for the 35W fog light HID. To me they're brighter than most of cars even Benz, Beamer, Lexus, ... And that's why I can't see my high beam when needed. I only use the high beam to let other vehicles know they are blinding people with either they forgot to turn off their high beam or using HID in no projectors cars. I hate the glare of the latter.
