1. This software allows you convert blu-rays YOU OWN to MP4 (including 0.264) format.
2. This s/w is for PCs/MAC with blu-ray drive
3. You need a blu-ray drive to use the s/w.
4. The reason to use the s/w is that - you can transfer the MP4 movies to your iPAD or a portable device, so that you can watch the movie when you want (such as a long airplane flight) or stream via something like WD Media Player
5. When you "rip" the blu-tay, you should ideally select the size of the frame to match the original size of the movie frame(such as 720 X480 etc).
6. The s/w will typically remove most copy protection while ripping.
7. Ripping time depends upon your PC's processor, memory, HD speed as well as frame size output etc. You can select to shut the PC down at the end of a rip.
8. This s/w will NOT rip Non-blu-rays
9. This s/w will NOT convert blu-rays to ISO, but will rip ISOs to MP4

Go to linked page. Click on green "Get it for free" on right. Click on the popup for the version you want free. Put something for your name; put in the email address where you want the registration code sent. Click on Complete checkout. Code will be sent to the email. Download / install / start the software from the link. Enter Reg code. It's yours. Done. Rip all day.================================ How to Use Aiseesoft Blu Ray Ripper To get started all you need to do is to select the input device, which could be either a Blu Ray disc, a DVD disc, or an existing video file you have that you need converted into another format. Next, you choose the output setting of the video. Aiseesoft has done a real nice job of listing many separate devices to ensure that output settings will be correct for your device. You can choose from iPod, iPad, Motorola devices, Apple TV, PSP, PS3, XBox 360, HD video, and standard video to name a few. If your device is not listed don't worry, for the most part you can simply choose any MP4 format and your device will be able to play this. Processing Time Ok now that the Input and Output settings are selected it's time to hit the Convert Button. The time it takes to process a 2 hour Blu Ray movie will depend on your system. Quad core systems with 8GB or memory using a solid state drive and with a CUDA enabled video card are able to convert this file type in under an hour. That's pretty fast for intense HD video converting. You can either convert video while retiring for the night or when you have time to walk away from the PC for a few hours. Will the 1080p at 25GB for 2.5 hrs then be at 240p at 500Mb?

I've always had clean software from BitDuJour. Vending dirty software / bugs would ruin their business. On any installer pay attention to the options so you don't end up installing crapware (tool bars, etc.)

In just to try it. Currently I use MakeMKV and then Handbreak. If I could use just one SW that would be nice, hopefully quality is similar.
