Approved for 3.5k which is less than a lot of you guys, but great for someone whose highest limit up til now was $750! Been working so hard on getting credit straightened out and it is finally paying off, thanks to the good advice from so many helpful people on here

I do have a quick question. Since I don't have an SO, the AP option probably wouldn't work for me. Is there another option I can use to get the cash or close to full amount of cash to put back in my account, or would the Vanilla Visas at CVS be my best type of option?

CC bonuses have never led to 1099s in the past. (In contrast, checking/savings account bonuses almost always lead to 1099s.)

You'll never get a 1099 on Credit Cards rewards, perks, bonuses, or rebates - the IRS considers them coupons/discounts on actual spending an thus non-taxable. Conversly, incentives to sign up for savings & checking accounts are considered "interest" and thus are taxable.

Ok quick question. Say I buy a $1,200 item right away with the card. That is the only thing I purchase. After that first statement cycle, I will get the $400 to put toward my statement. Can it be to this $1,200 purchase that occured in that first billing cycle or will it have to be applied toward something that is purchased AFTER the $400 is awarded? Just wanting to make sure. Thanks!
