-An HD tuner -Remote control -Speakers -HDMI -Typically more inputs (RCA, Component, which are never on a monitor since computers dont output with those) Downside is that a TV may have lower response time, input delay, or overscan. Though those issues are rare these days as I use an 24" 1080P HDTV for a monitor myself and it works perfectly, but I also have a 5 year old 32" TV and with HDMI input from my PC, it has horrible overscan that I can't fix (no 1:1 mapping). Their resolution will either be 720p or 1080p, cheaper 32" are going to be 720P (1366x720p) which is far too low for a computer monitor. |
