Of course it fits in a standard pillow case since its much smaller than a standard pillow. I'm glad someone noticed that before I bought these pillows (i know i can return but I hate dealing with that mess).

Just got mine, knew it was smaller than a normal pillow when I ordered it, but it smells odd and is lumpy. It's going back next time I'm near the mall!
