Thread Details

75,000 can be translated into $500 - $600 in Gift Cards to a variety of vendors. See the MyPoints.com website. Essentially you are getting $500 of Open Sky products for free!

Good through 9/30/12
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Everyone who is having a problem with points posting should be inundating their social media sites to elicit a response.

Be patient, they appear to be manually confirming orders with OpenSky. Apparently this has been delayed since OpenSky is on the east coast (Sandy). Send them your order confirmation (order #, subtotal, etc) through their website/email.

Dead. I don't see anything when I go to http://www.mypoints.com/rewards/OpenSky
Please read the thread before posting misinformation.

POINTS ARE STARTING TO POST AS PENDING ON MYPOINTS!

Return Policy:
At some point on Friday, Opensky changed their return policy from 'free returns' to a $7.95 charge per item. Phone reps have gone back and forth on whether the old policy still applies to orders placed before Friday, with no clear answer yet. Refer to attached screen-grabs for evidence of the old policy.

**Also check your invoice in the box when you receive your products, mine both state the old return policy and states FREE returns.

thanks for the tip. called opensky and confirmed my order was linked to mypoints.
Thanks. Called also, was told the order was linked and it was already submitted to mypoints.com. But it is up to mypoints when the points will be posted.
So far I do not see any points yet.

When you go to the click through, there is an option to contact member services.
Did you just tell them your opensky order number?

I just e-mailed them my order confirmations.

Strange I did not get point for 9/27 order but got credit for 9/28 order. but my 9/27 order was shipped yesterday only. not sure if that is the reason.

I am curious if anyone ends up getting their double points for new members.

I spent $145 on the 27th but nothing was showing as pending on MyPoints yet. I was worried because I shopped so long before I checked out. I forgot to renew the link before I paid, as I usually do. I just called Open Sky and was told my order was not linked to MyPoints. They put me on hold and came back to say they had linked it. Now I am just waiting for it to show up on MyPoints.
Who are you people talking to? I called opensky just now. The rep told me there's no way to see whether or not the order came through mypoints. She said the only thing she can confirm is where I joined from, and she showed that I joined opensky from mypoints. That means nothing, though because I joined much earlier and went back to click through later.

I called the customer service number on my bill. She seemed to know what she was talking about, so maybe you should call again and try another rep.

I called the number on the front page of their site. The guy put me on hold for a minute and came back with the confirmation. I think you got a rep that doesn't know the information is available to them.

In the prompts I hit customer support love or something like that.

Yeah, that's the same option I chose. She just must not know squat.

Me too, they specifically asked for my order number as well.

Good to hear people are starting to see pending points. I have yet to see anything come up. Will give it until next week or I see more people with points, but I am still a bit wary. Resisting the urge to call.

Anyone get the $10 credit with their order from signing up for a new OpenSky account with Retailmenot dot com get Mypoints posted? I ordered on 9/28 and still do not see any points pending. 1 of 3 items have been received. Thanks.
I sure did on most of my orders. Reason I said most 'cuz I can't (or lazy) match my pts up from MyP to my orders. For sure, they still owe me more pts but I'm fine if I don't get them (see below).

Googled and found a better link than Retailmenot. None of my orders had less than $35 credit stacked. A couple even w/ $50 but only 1 was shipped, though. Other 1 still pending but look to be flagged/dead. I know this 'cuz the exact same items were received a week ago on another order. No lost since I have no real use for them.

It looks like MyPoints just put up the offer again. Only for 50 points per $1 now. Still a good deal if it doubles.

Can anyone tell if there's a limit to this offer? Don't see any references to a $500 limit here.

I ordered $500 worth from OpenSky. Im going to wait for the points to post, and I dont plan on contacting CS until 2 more weeks pass...

However, even with the full 37,500 points, it appears as though I would only be able to redeem for about $300-$350 worth of gift cards. (most of the $100 gift cards are at 11,600 points)

Which gift cards do you guys plan to redeem to accumulate $500 worth of gift cards?

Not sure how you are coming up with 37500 for a $500 purchase. If you bought when the offer was 150 per $1 then it would be 75k or 150k if it was doubled (for new mypoints users). If you bought just now when it was 50 per $1 spent it would be 25k or 50k doubled. I think the $500 in gift cards was for the old offer of 75k points for the $500 spent.
