Everyone who is having a problem with points posting should be inundating their social media sites to elicit a response.

Be patient, they appear to be manually confirming orders with OpenSky. Apparently this has been delayed since OpenSky is on the east coast (Sandy). Send them your order confirmation (order #, subtotal, etc) through their website/email.

Dead. I don't see anything when I go to http://www.mypoints.com/rewards/OpenSky
Please read the thread before posting misinformation.

POINTS ARE STARTING TO POST AS PENDING ON MYPOINTS!

Return Policy:
At some point on Friday, Opensky changed their return policy from 'free returns' to a $7.95 charge per item. Phone reps have gone back and forth on whether the old policy still applies to orders placed before Friday, with no clear answer yet. Refer to attached screen-grabs for evidence of the old policy.

**Also check your invoice in the box when you receive your products, mine both state the old return policy and states FREE returns.

woohoo! my points posted (75k)! Still waiting for double points. They said they will have those to me by the 10th.

on another note does anyone know what the best value gift cards are?

I'm afraid they are going to jack up the prices on the popular gcs as well since they are going to be flooded soon.

Well, for many people Amazon is the most usable. Lots of other stuff is a better value, but it depends on how useful it will be. Banana Republic seems like one of the best deal, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend $50 there, much less $1K+. Home Depot and Lowes are a tad better value than Amazon, but (without extra points from something else) will only get you an extra $10. Sears seams like one of the better deals to me (nets an extra $150), but I'm not sure I want to spend that much there either.

I actually thought the gas cards were a good deal.

Maybe I'll get half in amzn and half in shell/bp cards.

Anyone know a good way to convert Amazon GC's to cash aside from Ebay, where you expose yourself to unscrupulous buyers and Ebay's horrid seller "protection" policies?

If you want to easily convert your points to cash in the best way possible is the Marriott $75 gift cards. It's basically 148 points/$ after the gift card sites take their cuts.

That's only an extra $13 on the $1000, which isn't much (though I suppose if you really want the cash....). Furthermore, I'm not sure where you are talking about selling, but if you mean plastic jungle, the risk there is that their buying rate changes with demand, so if a bunch of people try selling, the rate could drop. Not really worth it to me. I had already took a look at a lot of other ones on plastic jungle, but nothing seems to make a significant increase

I chatted on Tuesday. Was promised the points would post in 48 hours, and they have not. I'll give it until tomorrow and then try again.

I'm not sure what you mean it's only an extra $13 on 1000 but if you want cash out of this your only choices are paypal, visa, or selling gift cards. If you get double points you're looking at cashing out a max of $842 in cash through paypal. If you go the gift card route and sell to plastic jungle or cardpool or one of the many other sites you would get the most out of the Marriott cards at their current rate which would be a max of $1013. You're definitely taking a risk though that you're beating the rush but eventually the rates will return to normal even if they do go lower temporarily.

Yeah, I was kind of mixing 2 discussions. We were discussing what redemption options were the best value, so I was saying the mypoints->marriott->plastic jungle (or whatever card trading place you were quoting) would only net you an extra $13 at 148/$ vs 150/$. So it's an option if you want cash.

Just cashed out 10 x $50 of Amazon.com - Isn't the best "deal" as some exchanges are less than $50::7500 points but the most versatile credit to me.

Finally, now I have 10 cool RC helicopters to play with that were officially FREE!
