75,000 can be translated into $500 - $600 in Gift Cards to a variety of vendors. See the MyPoints.com website. Essentially you are getting $500 of Open Sky products for free!

Good through 9/30/12

Everyone who is having a problem with points posting should be inundating their social media sites to elicit a response.

Be patient, they appear to be manually confirming orders with OpenSky. Apparently this has been delayed since OpenSky is on the east coast (Sandy). Send them your order confirmation (order #, subtotal, etc) through their website/email.

Dead. I don't see anything when I go to http://www.mypoints.com/rewards/OpenSky
Please read the thread before posting misinformation.

POINTS ARE STARTING TO POST AS PENDING ON MYPOINTS!

Return Policy:
At some point on Friday, Opensky changed their return policy from 'free returns' to a $7.95 charge per item. Phone reps have gone back and forth on whether the old policy still applies to orders placed before Friday, with no clear answer yet. Refer to attached screen-grabs for evidence of the old policy.

**Also check your invoice in the box when you receive your products, mine both state the old return policy and states FREE returns.

My double points posted today after contacting them through facebook. By far deal of the year!
I just went to Facebook and typed a lengthy message to send to them, then logged in to my MyPoints account to get some information to include in the message but found out that my double points were posted today as well (pending mid-Jan). It took them almost a month, they irritated the heck out of me with their bs timeframes and assurances, but at least they did it right in the end. Now the last stage, have no idea what I'll redeem the points for, I'll go through the last few pages of the thread when I get a chance.

Same, my first batch of GC's didn't arrive yet, but hopefully will soon. Then off to sell them!

So, what are you guys cashing your points for? Amazon? With the risk of getting yelled at, what is the decided best way to cash these if any? Big Grin

I get 6% cb for most gift cards bought at supermarkets so it looks like a $1K redemption will be worth $940 for me in any case.

75% amazon, 25% lowes. I still can't believe that a company gave out 200% credit in big name gift cards for up to $500 in spending. Really impressed that Mypoints followed through.

Yes, read through the last several pages, as this was already discussed. To sum it up, Amazon gift cards are an equal trade ($1 GC earned for each $1 originally spent). Most other retailers are roughly similar. There are few that are worth significantly more, but many of them are (IMHO) overpriced brand retailers. The only one worthwhile in my opinion is Sears. Those are worth (as I recall) about 18% more per point.

I personally don't shop at sears as often, but for that much of an increase in value, I'm content to hold onto them for up to a few years if necessary. I'll use them eventually (tool, power tools, appliances, etc or use them at Kmart).

I seem to get enough other opportunities to earn (or buy at a significant discount) Amazon and Home Depot gift cards, so I'd probably end up with the same situation if I went that route. I just got $500 Amazon from a credit card signup bonus, and then just this week I purchased $1000 in Amazon cards for 35% off thanks to the AmEx/Best Buy/Halo 4 deal ($50 off $100 stacked with $20 off $200 for a total of $70 off $200). Hoping to get a few more Amex cards before end of the year so I can buy some more. So I've got at least a year's worth of Amazon spending already lined up. My Home Depot gift card stash WAS in a similar state, until I blew through all $1300 of it during the $50 off $100 promo, but I anticipate replenishing that in the near future, too. So I figure what the hell, Sears is as good as anything.

Edit: Ah, crap. Just went to cash in the rest of my points, and the sears $100 option is gone. Well, at least I got my first $600 out that way. Maybe it will come back later?

BTW, they just re-added a bunch of rewards, Sears $100 is back. It went from 144 total gift cards options yesterday to 168 today.

The Amazon "cards" are actually e-codes... pretty upset about that.

Little late, but I just logged on to see 150,000 points. Wow. Best deal I ever got. Only wish I'd spent the original $500 a little more thoughtfully ($60 on a mortar and pestle???). I now have a fond spot for both of these websites.

Did you ever get a tracking number for it? I placed 2 orders (a few weeks apart), and received emails that each of the orders were being processed (again, a few weeks apart). After the 2nd order email, I then got an email with a tracking number, and a few days later got one of my orders. However, I can't figure out whether the order I received was for my first or second order (both orders were identical). I opened a ticket with mypoints to figure out what happened (has my 2nd order not shipped, or did I get my 2nd order and my first order disappeared?) They said they were investigating and it would take 7-10 business days. Well, this morning is 10 business day and still no response, so I sent them an email this morning. Got an automated response, but nothing more yet.
