How do you figure? As best I can tell you are earning opensky points not MyPoints, per the terms copied in the above comments.

I think mypoints just get you some insider-access to events and stuff, nothing meaningful. Correct me if i'm wrong though.

Like I said in the above post, you get the Mypoints AND Opensky points, 10 Opensky points per dollar spent, AND The 150 points per dollar spent with Mypoints.

how about this,
https://opensky.com/buddy/product...cup-brewer

get a Keurig B70-like machine for FREE ONLY IF the points are issued to MyPoints program rather than OpenSky.

I am going to send a query to MyPoints.com

Ok, after digging around the OpenSky site, and for guys they just don't sell much of anything you'll want, I found the de BUYER Mineral B Element cookware. The prices on OpenSky are identical to the prices on Amazon, although you might save a nickel here and there, but otherwise the same. The reviews are incredible! I really need a good frying pan anyways, and if these are going to be free since I'll get MyPoints to use on the Amazon GC I wanted, then I'm all over this deal! Check out these pans. I think you'll like what you see!

Forgive my confusion but I'm still not following. From a mypoints account - I click through to opensky where I make my purchase that earns 150/$1 spent. As far as I can tell, these opensky points are worthless. How do you stack mypoints points on top of this?

So, if I order $500 of opensky, I will get 75000 mypoints?

I will order today... If the rewards dont post by tomorrow, am I screwed?

There is no way Mypoints is blasting this offer on their front page if it is not 150 mypoints per dollar. They would have a customer relations nightmare if all that was being given out was the worthless opensky points.

What we think is going to happen from this horribly worded deal from MyPoints, is that we buy something on OpenSky and then get rewards points on MyPoints worth the exact same amount as we spend on OpenSky to spend at MyPoints. At MyPoints we can get GC's, so the OpenSky purchase ends up being free after you get your MyPoints rewards points (up to $500). However, MyPoints worded the deal horribly, so it's really hard to figure out what the hell is going on.

Rewards won't post for 30-days. The delay to to make sure you don't return the item or cancel your order with OpenSky.

So here's what it is. You get 150 MYPOINTS per dollar spent with Opensky.
Opensky themselves has their OWN point system, separate from Mypoints. For every dollar spent on Opensky you get 10 points with them (I have no idea what their rewards are, pretty sure they are next to useless), but that's what Mypoints is pointing out. You get 150 of THEIR points on MYPOINTS when you spend each dollar with OpenSky, but there is ALSO an internal point system with Opensky itself.

Right? Right. Someone bring me a drink, lol.

I'm not so sure. They have a click-through gate with the phrase in question right above the CONTINUE button.

I agree it's pretty confusing but - "OpenSky points are different from Points earned in the MyPoints program and may not be used for MyPoints rewards." seems pretty airtight to me.

This is what we all want it to be. But....

a) the fine print is sketchy. why even talk about opensky points ?
b) can they really afford to give away $500 worth of merchandise (even if it is overpriced). This is not the .com 2000 Wink
c) If it sounds too good to be true then....

Anyway, I emailed mypoints CS, not sure when they will turnaround & reply.

I'll call them on my break. This does make my head hurt.

EDIT - Hi guys, I just called asking about the offer, spoke to a guy (naturally I didn't get his name, HURRR DURRR), And I asked if the points to be credited are Opensky points or Mypoints and he said "They are mypoints" And I said "Okay, so for every $ I spend at Opensky.com, you are telling me I will receive 150 Mypoints" and he said, "Yes, that's correct."

There ya have it people, I'll take a vodka and cranberry, kthxbai.

It is legit...I got my Mypoints email with this earlier today.
Me too, but no where that email says that 150 per $ spent will get you "mypoints". Even it says "OpenSky points are different from Points earned in the MyPoints program and may not be used for MyPoints rewards."...that's fishy....they may be talking about giving OpenSky point...

I saw another post someone is about to confirm from my points!

Ok, I finally was able to talk on the phone to a live person at MyPoints, and you will receive up to $500 worth of MyPoints reward points PER HOUSEHOLD when you make a purchase on OpenSky via their link. Your account will be awarded the points approximately 30-days AFTER your purchase at OpenSky to allow for returns and cancellations. You will also receive some OpenSky points which may or may not be worth a damn to use on OpenSky's website, however those are totally separate from this deal. I hope that clears this up. Big Grin
