With a buffer of ?!?!?, it would take maybe 12 seconds to dump out 10 x RAW+JPEG shots (@ 50MB file size), or technically 60 seconds with this Sony SDHC card. That means if you took 12 shots, you would have to wait a full minute before you could take out your SD card. Obviously most Class 4/6/10 cards will be able to handle 28 megabit/s video (3.5MB/s) from the NEX-5N/7. My bad for not clarifying. |

I just bought this and a 32gb class 10 Transcend. I compared them using H2testw on a Kingston USB3.0 card reader and came up with these results testing the entire card.
Transcend 14.6 Write 20.7 Read Sony 9.94 Write 20.5 Read Sandisk 8gb Extreme III 15.0 Write 20.9 Read I'd say the Transcend looks pretty good. |
